Transportation:
A) From Taoyuan (CKS) International Airport to the Hotels:
Taxis and Limousine service are available from the Airport to the Hotels. Participants who need limousine service, please forward your flight schedule to the hotels. “Toward You Air Bus” from the airport to certain hotels (include the Grand Hotel and the Ambassador Hotel) runs every 30 minutes from 06:00~01:00. B) From Hotels to the Meeting Venue:
Delegates staying in the Landis Taipei, Imperial Hotel, or the Ambassador Hotel will be within easy reach of the Congress Venue by a 10-minute ride.
Congress Secretariat:
The congress secretariat desk will be located on the 10th floor of the Grand Hotel, on the West Side of the Auditorium. The desk will be open from 13:30 to 18:00 on Sunday (October 5), and 07:30 to 18:00 from Monday to Wednesday (October 6 ~ 8), 2008.
Registration:
All congress attendees will be required to register at the congress secretariat desk. A congress kit consisting of final program, I.D. badges, and other materials will be given to each participant upon registration. Receipts and certificates of attendance will be given to all registrants.
On-site registration (for attendees who have not pre-paid) will take place on October 5, between 13:30-17:00, and during normal hours of the congress secretariat (07:30 to 17:00) on November 1st and beyond.
Identification Badges:
Please wear your identification badges at all times while you are attending the congress, coffee breaks, lunches and social events.
Messages Board:
A message board will be available for the use of attendees, and will be found next to the congress secretariat desk.
Power Point Reception and Previewing:
There will be a power point reception and previewing room located near the congress secretariat. Speakers are strongly encouraged to check-in their power point files at the reception desk right after registration on Sunday, October 5 or at least one day before the scheduled presentation. The use of the presenters own personal computer will not be permitted.
Presentation Times:
In the interests of fairness and efficiency, the congress will adhere strictly to the presentation schedule. 6-minute presentations will be given a bell warning signal 1 minute before the time is expired, while 3-minute presentations will receive a bell warning 30 seconds before time is expired. Section moderators will be responsible for running each section on time.
Poster Presentations:
Posters will be displayed in a section of the meeting hall and the adjacent west-side balcony. All posters must fit within a surface area of 150 cm in height by 90 cm in width. Presenters are responsible for affixing and removing their own posters.
Poster setup will be from 14:00 to 17:00 on October 5, and from 07:00 to 08:00 on October 6. All posters must be setup during these times.
Dismantling time will be from 15:00 t o17:00 on October 8. The Grand Hotel will not accept responsibility for damage or loss of posters dismantled after this time.
Coffee Breaks:
These will be provided outside the main auditorium on the 10th floor of the Hotel.
Lunch:
Free lunches are included for all registered attendees and guests. A buffet lunch will be held on October 6th and 8th between the hours on 12:30 and 13:30 in Der-Hou Room located on Basement (B1). Lunch tickets will be provided in each registrant's kit at time of registration, and are required for entrance. A light box lunch will be given to all participants at the Lunch Seminar session on October 7th.
Company Exhibition Booths:
The exhibitions will be held along the corridor immediately apposite the elevator on the 10th floor of the Hotel.
